  • Pharmacy Technician certification preferred or required depending on state regulations
  • Current state pharmacy technician registration/license
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred for serving the Latin community
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of prescription processing and pharmacy software systems
  • Ability to read and interpret prescriptions accurately
  • Experience with insurance billing, Medicare, and Medicaid claims
  • Knowledge of common medications, dosages, and pharmacy terminology
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Cash register and point-of-sale experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Inventory management and medication stocking experience
  • Ability to answer phone calls and assist customers professionally
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills with pharmacists and healthcare staff
  • Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
  • Basic math and data entry skills
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if needed
  • Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of Hispanic/Latino patients
  • Ability to explain medications and instructions clearly in Spanish and English
  • Experience assisting uninsured or underinsured patients preferred
  • Strong community engagement and interpersonal skills
