Position Overview:
Are you passionate about art and looking for a hands-on experience in a vibrant creative environment? Hawaii Fluid Art is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Art Instructor Interns. This unpaid internship is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who loves art, enjoys working with people, and thrives in an interactive setting. You don't need to be a professional artist – just someone eager to learn, contribute, and share their passion for creativity!

Key Responsibilities:

As an Art Instructor Intern, you will gain valuable experience by:

  • Assisting in leading fun and engaging art classes, guiding guests through the fluid art process.
  • Helping to create a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere for all guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Supporting studio setup, clean-up, and general maintenance of the art space.
  • Providing assistance to customers with color choices, techniques, and creative ideas.
  • Learning about studio operations, including handling transactions and bookings.
  • Assisting with special events, private parties, and community outreach activities.

  • A genuine passion for creativity and a desire to help others express themselves.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, based on studio needs and your availability.
  • A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new art techniques (training will be provided!).
  • Reliable and responsible, with a proactive attitude.
  • Students pursuing a degree in fine arts, art education, hospitality, or a related field are encouraged to apply, but it's not required.
