**Job Summary:**

New Wave Med Spa is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Aesthetic Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with specialized training and experience in medical aesthetics, including administering injectable treatments, administering IV drip treatments, and performing advanced skincare procedures. As a Medical Aesthetic Nurse, you will work closely with our clients to assess their aesthetic concerns, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide safe and effective cosmetic procedures to enhance their natural beauty.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

  1. Conduct comprehensive consultations with clients to assess their aesthetic goals, medical history, and suitability for various cosmetic procedures.
  2. Administer injectable treatments, including Botox, dermal fillers, and other neurotoxins and fillers, using safe and precise injection techniques.
  3. Perform advanced skincare procedures, such as laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, to address specific skin concerns and improve skin texture and tone.
  4. Provide pre- and post-procedure care instructions to clients, including information about potential side effects, recovery times, and follow-up appointments.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all clients, including treatment plans, consent forms, and progress notes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and industry standards.
  6. Collaborate with other members of the medical team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants, to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes for clients.
  7. Stay informed about the latest advancements and trends in medical aesthetics through ongoing education and training, including attending conferences and workshops.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the practice of nursing and the provision of medical aesthetic services.
  9. Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and ethical conduct, including maintaining strict infection control protocols and practicing within the scope of nursing practice.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout their treatment journey, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring a positive experience.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

- Must be a registered nurse (RN) licensed in the state of Florida.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a nurse in a medical setting, with specialized training and experience in medical aesthetics.

- Certification in advanced aesthetic procedures, such as injectables, laser treatments, and chemical peels, is preferred.

- Proficiency in performing injectable treatments, including Botox and dermal fillers, with demonstrated skill and expertise.

- Strong knowledge of facial anatomy, skincare principles, and cosmetic dermatology concepts.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and educate them about treatment options and outcomes.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering safe, high-quality care and achieving optimal results for clients.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate client appointments.
