Aesthetician

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Aesthetician to join our team at New Wave Med Spa. The ideal candidate will have a passion for skincare and beauty treatments, along with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As an Aesthetician, you will be responsible for delivering a range of skincare services to our clients, including facials, waxing, chemical peels, and other advanced treatments. You will work closely with clients to assess their skincare needs, recommend appropriate treatments, and provide personalized skincare advice to help them achieve their beauty goals.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Perform a variety of skincare treatments, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and microneedling, in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
2. Conduct thorough skincare consultations with clients to assess their skin type, concerns, and goals, and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
3. Administer facial and body waxing services, including eyebrow shaping, lip waxing, and bikini waxing, using safe and effective techniques.
4. Educate clients about proper skincare routines, product usage, and maintenance between treatments to optimize results and promote long-term skin health.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms, equipment, and work areas, adhering to infection control and sanitation protocols at all times.
6. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client consultations, treatments, and product recommendations using our electronic scheduling and charting system.
7. Stay informed about the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in skincare and aesthetic treatments through ongoing training and professional development.
8. Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction, address any concerns or questions, and build long-lasting relationships with clients.
9. Collaborate with other members of the spa team, including estheticians, massage therapists, and receptionists, to coordinate appointments, promote services, and maintain a positive work environment.
10. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing the practice of aesthetics and the operation of a med spa facility.

**Qualifications:**

- Must be a licensed Aesthetician in the state of Florida.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Aesthetician in a spa or skincare clinic setting.

- Proficiency in performing a variety of skincare treatments, including facials, chemical peels, waxing, and advanced aesthetic procedures.

- Strong knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and their effects on different skin types and conditions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and provide personalized skincare advice.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, results-driven treatments in a safe and professional manner.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate client appointments.
